Eurozone finance ministers have also gathered in Brussels to discuss the 130 billion euro Greek bailout - but Greece must wait another week before the money starts to flow. The final say will be given on the first tranche after Athens reaches agreement with its private creditors next Thursday. As another nervous week lies ahead for Greece, Nigel Farage, MEP and leader of the UK Independence Party, says the sacrifices it's being forced to make only drag the country deeper into trouble.

European Parliament, Strasbourg, 12 December 2012 - ROUND TWO • Speaker: Nigel Farage MEP, Leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), Co-President of the 'Europe of Freedom and Democracy' (EFD) Group in the European Parliament - http://nigelfaragemep.co.uk • Debate: Preparations for the European Council meeting (13-14 December 2012) Council and Commission statements [2012/2725(RSP)] Transcript: When, many years ago I stood up in this place and said the euro project was flawed and would end very badly, I was met with a wall of derision in this house and I must admit it was a very lonely old game. But now there is a growing number of people here who recognise the flaws in the euro project and indeed out in Europe roughly half the population of the EU and the Eurozone now regret going into the currency. And I was pleased to see this week, that an even bigger voice is now being heard among the experts in the financial community. Indeed the Danish bank, Saxo Bank, said that Eurozone leaders are behaving like drug addicts and alcoholics. And how right Saxo Bank are because you keep on taking that same drug that is doing you and the peoples of Europe so much damage. It is time for some recognition that Mediterranean states do not fit into the Eurozone and if this summit pushes on towards banking and fiscal union it is not going to help anybody, it's going to break up in the end. .................................. • Video: EbS (European Parliament) .................................. • EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, United Kingdom

I hate interviewer's who do nothing but try to smear positive results for UKIP. The fact is; UKIP is making progress, has made progress and the leftist bigots who persist in trying to wave them away do nothing but make themselves look more out of touch with the public.
